Residential HVAC Design Training
Manual J, 8th Edition, Manual D, & Wrightsoft's Right-Suite for Residential J8 Training!
Quality HVAC system design is the foundation for a professional installation and year-round customer comfort. Understanding the concepts behind load calculation, equipment selection, duct design and room air distribution is essential to the professional application of these important design steps.
In the past, students learned theory together with "manual calculation procedures." Their exposure to computer-assisted design came later - in many instances much later. More often than not, by the time computer design training was provided, much of the design theory was forgotten. This is because manual calculation, long-form procedures simply had not been employed. Learning suffered as a result.
What is unique about this training is that design concepts are taught as a foundation to computer-assisted HVAC system design. Gone are the tedious, laborious, repetitive and intimidating long-form, room-by-room calculations that traditionally have taken up so much class time to teach. Students go directly from design concepts to computer-assisted application. With theory fresh in their minds, students more quickly learn computer-assisted design. They complete their training excited about their newly-acquired professional skills. This is not your father's Manual J and Manual D training!
